The analyzed period was between the years 2013 and 2019 and the Markowitz models were used to create a portfolio with the minimum risk and ideal return based on the shares that are part of the Ibovespa index and through statistical models, such as the Augmented Dickey Fuller test and Ordinary Least Squares, using multiple regressions. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the country-risk variation and the return on an asset portfolio greater than the Ibovespa index have a degree of significance that contribute to the entry of foreign capital into the stock market in Brazil.
