    Si la hegemonía de Estados Unidos en el hemisferio es la principal explicación de las reacciones de varios gobiernos latinoamericanos al ataque de Hamás a Israel y la guerra israelí en Gaza, distintos casos ejemplifican que el entorno nacional y los rasgos personales de los liderazgos han determinado el tipo de posicionamiento.

    If U.S. hegemony in the hemisphere is the main explanation for the reactions of several Latin American governments to the Hamas attack against Israel and the Israeli war in Gaza, various cases exemplifying the national context and personal traits of the leaders have determined the type of alignment they follow.
