  • The parliamentary constitutional monarchy will continue for a long time in the United Kingdom because the British identity is closely linked to the Crown.

    Nevertheless, it is very likely that the Caribbean monarchies will become republics, as other Caribbean Community countries have already done, and that King Carlos III will no longer be the head of state in those countries.

    What is not contemplated in the short and medium term is that they separate from the Commonwealth of Nations.
