    The guiding question of this study is: to which body was entrusted the representation of the people, and therefore the power to decide on the most important matters inherent to social coexistence, as well as to establish and guarantee the exercise of citizens' rights? As a general objective, this research will present a discussion about judicial supremacy in relation to the representative system, which originates from the electoral process and is operationalized by elected representatives. Regarding the specific objectives, it will seek to demonstrate that the actions of constitutional courts have produced judicial supremacy; to analyze judicial supremacy and verify its conformity with the representative system, as well as with contemporary constitutional texts; and to verify the link between judicial supremacy and self-declarations or powers granted by the courts. To develop this contribution, the methodology will be the phenomenological-hermeneutic approach, a monographic procedure method, along with the indirect documentation research technique

    O problema norteador do presente estudo é: a qual órgão foi entregue a representação do povo, portanto, a atribuição de decidir sobre os assuntos mais importantes inerentes à convivência social, assim como a de instituir e garantir o exercício dos direitosdos cidadãos? Como objetivo geral, a pesquisa apresentará uma discussão acerca da supremacia judicial frente ao sistema representativo, esse oriundo do processo eleitoral e operacionalizado pelos representantes eleitos. No que diz respeito aos objetivos específicos, buscará demonstrar que a atuação dos tribunais constitucionais produziu uma supremacia judicial; analisar a supremacia judicial e verificar a sua conformidade com o sistema representativo, assim como com os textos constitucionais contemporâneos; verificar a vinculação da supremacia judicial a autodeclarações ou a poderes autoconcedidos pelos tribunais. Para o desenvolvimento dessa contribuição, será utilizada, como metodologia, a abordagem fenomenológico-hermenêutica, métodode procedimento monográfico, juntamente com a técnica de pesquisa por documentação indireta
