El artículo realiza un seguimiento de los planteamientos del Partido Comunista de España (PCE) en torno a la llamada “planificación democrática” —que constituye el núcleo de sus propuestas económicas— durante aproximadamente treinta años de historia de la formación, entre el XII y el XX Congresos (febrero de 1988-diciembre de 2017). Para ello se utiliza su documentación política, así como otra relevante. El objetivo es dilucidar hasta qué punto el partido continúa fiel a su ideario marxista original, así como el tipo de sociedad que proyecta cuando se refiere a un futuro socialista o comunista. Analizando sus propuestas referidas a cuestiones clave como la propiedad, el trabajo, el mercado o el medio ambiente, resulta visible su defensa de un modelo de “economía mixta” acorde con los postulados de la socialdemocracia.
The article traces the approaches of the Communist Party of Spain (PCE) to the so-called "democratic planning" -which constitutes the core of its economic proposals- during approximately thirty years of the party's history, between the 12th and 20th Congresses (February 1988-December 2017). For this purpose, its political documentation, as well as other relevant documentation, is used. The aim is to elucidate to what extent the party remains faithful to its original Marxist ideology, as well as the type of society it projects when it refers to a socialist or communist future. By analysing its proposals on key issues such as property, labour, the market and the environment, it becomes clear that he advocates a "mixed economy" model in line with the postulates of social democracy.
