El Liberalismo actual se le ha tintado de neoliberalismo. Un término que adolece de contenido alguno per sey respaldo filosófico, político o social. Si bien es cierto que está carente de significado, se utiliza en la esfera popular para intentar desprestigiar todas las medidas que se tiñen de no-sociales(beneficio social que necesariamente no es conseguido por el Socialismo). En este trabajo se realiza una revisión a la bibliografía filosófica del concepto primigenio de Liberalismo (con base en la corriente de la Ilustración). Se recoge, por tanto, los fundamentos definitorios esenciales que delimitan la verdadera naturaleza del movimiento. De forma paralela, se realizan implicaciones actuales de los conceptos encontrados y se analizan desde el punto de vista social y se justifican desde el punto de vista psicológico. Se concluye que hace falta recuperar los ideales ilustrados y se evidencia la necesidad de partidos políticos actuales que verdaderamente implemente los principios liberales en la sociedad de hoy en día.
The current Liberalism has been misled with neoliberalism. This is a term that suffers from any content per seand philosophical, political or social support. While it is meaningless, the truth is that it is used in the popular sphere to try to discredit all measures that are marked as non-social(social benefit that are not necessarily achieved by Socialism). This work means a revision of the philosophical bibliography of the original concept of Liberalism (based on the current of the Enlightenment). Therefore, the essential fundamentals that define the true nature of the movement are included. In parallel, current implications of the concepts found are analyzed from the social point of view and justified based on their psychological processes. It is concluded that the enlightened ideals need to be recovered and there is a necessity for current political parties that truly implement the liberal principles in today's society
