Este trabajo se centra en el estudio y análisis morfosintáctico de un conjunto de adjetivos deverbales formados por los sufijos -dor, -ivo y -orio, que se comportan semántica y sintácticamente como adjetivos relacionales, a pesar de tener una base verbal (proyecto investigador, texto narrativo, movimiento migratorio), lo que supone un desajuste entre la forma deverbal y la interpretación denominal. A partir de distintas pruebas léxico-sintácticas, mostramos que estos adjetivos deverbales son sintáctica y semánticamente relacionales y que esta interpretación se construye a partir de la relación que la base verbal establece con el sustantivo modificado. Con esto, ofrecemos una única explicación válida para los tres sufijos, que además permite dar cuenta de las distintas interpretaciones que un mismo adjetivo puede presentar: activa, disposicional, y/o relacional.
This paper focuses on the study and the morphosyntactic analysis of a set of deverbal adjectives formed with the Spanish suffixes -dor, -ivo and -orio, which behave semantic and syntactically as relational adjectives, despite having a verbal base (proyecto investigador, texto narrativo, movimiento migratorio). And this fact implies a mismatch between the deverbal form and the denominal interpretation. From different lexico-syntactic tests, we show that these deverbal adjectives are syntactically and semantically relational and this interpretation is built from the relationship that the verbal base establishes with the modified noun. With this proposal, we offer a single valid explanation for the three suffixes, which also allows us to account for the different interpretations that the same adjective can present: active, dispositional, and/or relational.
