    La incidencia de las redes sociales en la vida de las personas es innegable, como lo muestran informes recientes. Sin embargo, la brecha digital afecta a las personas con discapacidad, limitando el disfrute de sus derechos y los beneficios que los espacios virtuales ofrecen para sus derechos y los beneficios que los espacios virtuales ofrecen para su desarrollo personal y social. El objetivo de esta revisión es analizar investigaciones sobre el uso y acceso a las redes sociales por personas con discapacidad intelectual. Se revisaron 53 artículos publicados entre 2014 y 2023 las bases de datos de Scopus, Web of Science y Dialnet.

    The impact of social media on people’s lives is undeniable, as recent reports show. However, the digital divide affects people with disabilities, having repercussions on the enjoyment of their rights and the benefits that virtual spaces offer for their personal and social development. The aim of this review is to analyse research on the use and access to social media by people with intellectual disability. Fifty-three articles published between 2014 and 2023 were reviewed from databases of Scopus, Web of Science and Dialnet.
