This study explores an approach to revitalizing endangered native minority languages (NML) in Colombia through the simultaneous teaching of an NML, Embera Chamí, and a foreign language (FL), French, using serious video games (SVG). While FL thrive with robust didactic methods, NML face declining vitality and limited pedagogical resources. Leveraging the dynamism of FL teaching methods and technologies, this research seeks to benefit NML revitalization efforts. The project developed a simultaneous teaching method (STM) and an SVG tailored to this dual-language context. The effectiveness of both was tested with beginner students in the Modern Languages Program at the University of Caldas, yielding promising results for the STM and the SVG as tools for cultural and linguistic preservation.
