Anatole France: En el centenario de su fallecimiento

    Las generaciones actuales no han leído a Anatole France (1844-1924), y la mayoría ni siquiera lo han oído nombrar. ¿Cómo puede ser posible? Internet ha puesto a disposición de la humanidad los medios informativos más completos de la historia. Pese a ello, la desinformación y la pérdida del acervo cultural alcanza proporciones desconocidas. Son tiempos de Fake news y posverdad en los que el uso de la inteligencia artificial hace aún más difícil distinguir ficción de realidad.

    Ante esto, empleando el método de la teoría crítica, el objetivo del trabajo es recuperar la obra de un pensador que marcó una época, para que ella pueda ser leída, analizada, comprendida y disfrutada por las nuevas generaciones. Ante la emergencia mundial de movimientos de ultraderecha, racistas, xenófobos, machistas, los escritos de Anatole France recobran actualidad. Con el presente estudio analítico pretendemos aportar para (re)construir una cultura con bases en la solidaridad, el imperio de la libertad y la igualdad, el respeto por las diversidades, y con pensamiento crítico.

    The current generations have not read Anatole France (1844-1924), and most have never even heard of him. How can this be possible? The Internet has made the most comprehensive means of information available to humanity in history. Despite this, misinformation and the loss of cultural heritage have reached unprecedented proportions. These are times of fake news and post-truth in which the use of artificial intelligence makes it even more difficult to distinguish fiction from reality.

    Given this, using the method of critical theory, the objective of this work is to recover the work of a thinker who marked an era, so that it can be read, analyzed, understood and enjoyed by new generations. Given the global emergence of far-right, racist, xenophobic and sexist movements, the writings of Anatole France are becoming relevant again. With this analytical study we thus aim to contribute to (re)building a culture based on solidarity, the rule of freedom and equality, respect for diversity, and critical thinking.
