Los contenidos de este estudio describen y analizan los resultados de la totalidad de las unidades informativas publicadas sobre Chile, en cinco periódicos marroquíes (Le Matin, La Mañana del Sahara del Magreb, Al-Ittihad Al-Ichtiraki, Al Alam, L'Économiste), obtenidas a lo largo de los veinticinco años de análisis hemerográfico (1990-2015). Se examinan las características cuantitativas y cualitativas de las noticias publicadas sobre Chile en cada periódico, con el objetivo de comparar las imágenes de Chile que se presentan en cada uno. El estudio ofrece una síntesis descriptiva e informativa de la cobertura de Chile en la prensa marroquí. Se analizan las similitudes y diferencias en la forma en que se presenta Chile en los diferentes periódicos, así como los temas y eventos que reciben mayor atención. El estudio concluye que la cobertura de Chile en la prensa marroquí es limitada pero generalmente positiva.
The contents of this study describe and analyse the results of the totality of the news units published on Chile in five Moroccan newspapers (Le Matin, La Mañana del Sahara del Maghreb, Al-Ittihad Al-Ichtiraki, Al Al Alam, L'Économiste), obtained over the twenty-five years of newspaper analysis (1990-2015). The quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the news published on Chile in each newspaper are examined, with the aim of comparing the images of Chile presented in each one. The study provides a descriptive and informative synthesis of the coverage of Chile in the Moroccan press. It analyses the similarities and differences in the way Chile is presented in the different newspapers, as well as the topics and events that receive the most attention. The study concludes that coverage of Chile in the Moroccan press is limited but generally positive.
