Examinamos la relación entre la ideología positivista y la teoría del capital. Para ello, se analiza qué es el “positivismo” y sus efectos como ideología en las “ciencias sociales”. A partir de ahí, se explica cómo la teoría del capital de Marx y la teoría del capital de la Escuela Austriaca trasladan una ideología a un modelo aparentemente “científico”. A la teoría del capital de Marx contraponemos la teoría pura del capital de Hayek. Ello nos sirve para resaltar el resultado más productivo de la teoría pura del capital de Hayek: la imposibilidad de formalizar la acción empresarial. De manera general, queda justificada la acción estratégica como categoría fundamental en la explicación de las disciplinas sociales prácticas.
We examine the relationship between positivist ideology and the theory of capital. To do this, what positivism in and its effects as ideology in the social sciences are analyzed. From there, it is explained how Marx´s theory of capital and the theory of capital of the Austrian School transfer an ideology to an apparently scientific model. We contrast Hayek´s pure theory of capital with Marx´s theory of capital. Thos serves to highlight the most productive result of Hayek´s pure theory of capital: the imposibility of formalizong entrepreneurial action. In general, strategic action is justifified as a fundamental category in the explanation of practical social disciplines.
