En el presente artículo, el autor sostiene que existió una teología propia y específicamente hispana, o sea, la perteneciente al Siglo de Oro español, que se manifestó no sólo como una teología realizada en España, sino, sobre todo, como una teología producida por España. Para demostrar esto, se analizan las notas esenciales que conforman dicha teología hispana, a saber: una escuela teológica, una teología tomista, una teología del Imperio y una teología tridentina.
In this article, the author argues that there was a specifically Hispanic theology, that is, that belonging to the Spanish Golden Age, which manifested itself not only as a theology made in Spain, but, above all, as a theology produced by Spain. In order to demonstrate this, the essential notes that shape this Hispanic theology are analysed, namely: a school of theology, a Thomistic theology, a theology of the Empire and a Tridentine theology.
