Como ya me había ocurrido cuando presenté la primera edición de Vigo y su colonia alemana durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, también cuando diez años después, en 2024, presenté su segunda edición (edición ampliada), me aparecieron nuevos testimonios y documentos que no pudieron quedar recogidos en el libro.
Quiero agradecer especialmente en este artículo la colaboración de Susana Laschuetza, Javier Steinbrüggen y Guillermo Steinbrüggen que me permitieron conocer el testimonio de sus padres. Sus padres, Juan Laschuetza Warwas, Francisco Steinbrüggen Klinkhart y Ulf Steinbrüggen fueron algunos de aquellos jóvenes de la colonia alemana de Vigo que acabaron sufriendo en sus propias carnes las consecuencias de luchar en los campos de batalla de la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
As had already happened to me when I presented the first edition of Vigo and its German colony during the Second World War, also when ten years later, in 2024, I presented its second edition (expanded edition), new testimonies and documents appeared that could not be included in the book.
In this article I would especially like to thank Susana Laschuetza, Javier Steinbrüggen and Guillermo Steinbrüggen who allowed me to hear the testimony of their fathers. Their fathers, Juan Laschuetza Warwas, Francisco Steinbrüggen Klinkhart and Ulf Steinbrüggen were among those young men from the German colony in Vigo who suffered the consequences of fighting on the battlefields of World War II
