La representación del cuerpo en el pentecostalismo costarricense (2016-2025) tiene dos momentos: el primero, asociado a la maldad antes de la conversión y no ajustado al ascetismo contra del pecado; el segundo, considerado bueno si y solo si el cuerpo está in-corporado a la comunidad creyente -gracias al Espíritu Santo-, lo cual lleva a resemantizar el cuerpo (interioridad) desde el cuerpo político (exterioridad) para unir la religión y la política en el escenario de la política nacional.
The representation of the body in Costa Rican Pentecostalism (2016-2025) has two phases: the first, associated with evil before conversion and not aligned with asceticism against sin; the second, considered good if and only if the body is incorporated into the believing community -thanks to the Holy Spirit- which leads to a resemanticization of the body (interiority) from the political body (exteriority) to unite religion and politics on the national political stage.
