La cooperación internacional vive uno de los momentos más críticos de su historia, tensionada por la emergencia de propuestas reaccionario-autoritarias que buscan su destrucción. El artículo analiza la naturaleza, motivaciones y consecuencias de estas amenazas, sustentadas en intereses, mitos y creencias que están teniendo ya un impacto profundo en el mundo, afectando negativamente a millones de personas en todo el planeta. Frente a este escenario, se plantea la necesidad de comprender y reivindicar la cooperación internacional como un espacio de resistencia y de disputa democrática, orientado a la construcción de un mundo basado en la justicia social y ecológica.
International cooperation is experiencing one of the most critical moments in its history, under pressure from reactionary and authoritarian proposals that seek its dismantling. The article analyzes the nature, motivations, and consequences of these threats, grounded in interests, myths, and beliefs that are already having a profound impact on the world, negatively affecting millions of people across the planet. In light of this scenario, the article argues for the need to understand and reclaim international cooperation as a space of resistance and democratic struggle, oriented toward building a world based on social and ecological justice.
La coopération internationale traverse l’un des moments les plus critiques de son histoire, mise à l’épreuve par l’émergence de propositions réactionnaires et autoritaires qui visent à la détruire. L’article analyse la nature, les motivations et les conséquences de ces menaces, fondées sur des intérêts, des mythes et des croyances qui ont déjà un impact profond sur le monde, affectant négativement des millions de personnes à travers la planète. Face à ce contexte, il souligne la nécessité de comprendre et de revendiquer la coopération internationale comme un espace de résistance et de lutte démocratique, orienté vers la construction d’un monde fondé sur la justice sociale et écologique.
