The presentation of volume 44/2023 of the journal Roma e America, ho-sted by IILA on November 7th, 2024, provided an opportunity to gather scholars and researchers in the IILA Library to discuss the significance of common Roman law as a link between different legal systems. The event highlighted the role of Roman law as a shared legal heritage, promoting dialogue between different legal traditions and contributing to a deeper understanding of the historical connections between Europe, Latin America and China.
