Ecotourism makes it possible for environments that are little or not at all anthropized to have their natural and cultural riches preserved when they are used for tourist purposes by people with a more adventurous profile, who seek a more dynamic experience between man and nature. The objective of the study was to contribute to the entrepreneurial development of Ecotourism, in a conscious and sustainable way in the region of the Municipality of Uiramutã, in Roraima. This research was based on a case study, with data collection divided into two parts: bibliographical survey and fieldwork. The collected data were worked on in order to demonstrate the economic situation of the municipality, the main potentials for ecotourism and, finally, to elaborate maps and records that help in the dissemination and strategic plans that leverage ecotourism in the region. As a result, it was found that the municipality has an extremely low economy, based on civil service. Ecotourism appears as a strong possibility, considering the great potential present in natural environments, such as the Paiuá I and II Waterfalls, Sete Quedas Waterfalls, Urucá and Urucazinho Waterfalls. Finally, the research carried out in the locality allowed the elaboration of access maps and a tourism map of the municipality that could help in tourist activities and dissemination of ecotourism in Uiramutã, as well as other forms of tourism. The study also brings data that can facilitate the creation of local diagnoses with a view to defining fair public policies, responsible and committed to the well-being of the population, based on the responsibility of promoting opportunities for all.
Ecoturismo possibilita que ambientes pouco ou nada antropizados tenham as riquezas naturais e culturais preservadas ao serem utilizadas para fins turísticos por pessoas com um perfil mais aventureiro, que busquem experiência mais dinâmica do homem com a natureza. O objetivo do estudo foi contribuir com o desenvolvimento empreendedor do Ecoturismo, de forma consciente e sustentável na região do Município de Uiramutã, em Roraima. A presente pesquisa foi fundamentada em um estudo de caso, sendo a coleta de dados divida em duas parte: levantamento bibliográfico e campo. Os dados coletados foram trabalhados visando demonstrar a situação econômica do município, as principais potencias ao ecoturismo e, por fim, elaborar mapas e registros que auxiliem na divulgação e planos estratégicos que alavanquem o ecoturismo na região. Como resultados, foi verificado que o munícipio possui uma economia extremamente baixa, baseada no funcionalismo público. O ecoturismo entra como uma forte possibilidade, tendo em vista o grande potencial presente nos ambientes naturais, como as Cachoeiras Paiuá I e II, Cachoeira Sete Quedas, Cachoeiras Urucá e Urucazinho. Por fim, a pesquisa vivenciada na localidade permitiu elaborar os mapas de acesso e um mapa de turismo do município que poderão auxiliar nas atividades turísticas e divulgação do ecoturismo em Uiramutã, bem como outras modalidades de turismo. O estudo ainda traz dados que podem facilitar a criação de diagnósticos locais com vista à definição de políticas públicas justas, responsáveis e empenhadas no bem-estar da população, baseada na responsabilidade de promover oportunidades para todos.
