    Este estudio explora las experiencias de mujeres DJs y productoras de música electrónica en Portugal, analizando las relaciones de género en la escena underground. A través de entrevistas en profundidad a 16 artistas, se identifican barreras como la subestimación profesional, el cuestionamiento y discriminación, pero también estrategias de existencia: autogestión de eventos, colectivos femeninos y uso de plataformas digitales para visibilizar su trabajo y desafiar estructuras de exclusión.

    This study explores the experiences of women DJs and electronic music producers in Portugal, analyzing gender relations within the underground scene. Through in-depth interviews with 16 artists, the research identifies barrier such as professional underestimation, questioning of legitimacy and discrimination. At the same time, it highlights strategies of development and existence, including self-managed events, female collectives and the use of digital platforms to increase visibility and challenge structures of exclusion.
