La estructura crítica popperiana se sustenta en tres argumentos dirigidos contra el concepto de ley empleado por Marx. La segunda gran sección se ocupa de la propuesta teórica del transhumanismo y está dedicado a mostrar sus defectos vinculados a la noción de ley y de predicción, ambos intrínsecamente conectados. Se sostiene que la miseria del transhumanismo consiste precisamente en la dimensión predictiva fallida de una teoría que podría describirse como un mero movimiento desiderativo especulativo. Por último, la conclusión retoma y cierra los aspectos más importantes del texto.
The text is divided into two main sections that respectively outline the background of the main point here claimed and the criticism of transhumanism directly proposed. The first section analyzes Popper's critique of Marx's historicism and highlights the importance of the failed notion of prediction in Marx's work. Popper's critical structure is based on three arguments directed against the concept of law used by Marx. The second main section deals with the theoretical proposal of transhumanism and is dedicated to showing its flaws, especially those linked to the notion of law and prediction, both intrinsically interconnected. It argues that the misery of transhumanism lies just on the failed predictive dimension of a theory that could be better described as a mere speculative wishful movement. Finally, the conclusion raises some questions that may prove crucial in light of some possible consequences of transhumanism.
