La responsabilidad parental conlleva, entre otras, la obligación graduable de velar por la integridad física y mental del hijo menor de edad en la medida en que va adquiriendo un mayor grado de madurez. Pero el cuidado del menor, cuando no ha alcanzado la edad de dieciséis años y es contratado para trabajar en espectáculos públicos difícilmente reducirá el nivel de responsabilidad del representante legal, por lo que siendo el empresario el garante de la indemnidad del menor trabajador, quizá no deba apartarse el foco sobre la responsabilidad parental de quien ha permitido su contratación.

However, the care of a minor who has not reached the age of sixteen and who is hired to work in public performances will hardly reduce the level of responsibility of the legal representative. Therefore, since the employer is the guarantor of the minor worker's indemnity, perhaps the focus should not be shifted away from the parental responsibility of the person who allowed the minor to be hired.
