Se examina el teatro contemporáneo como un arte efímero y multidisci-plinar que dialoga con tecnologías emergentes, como la inteligencia artificial (IA), la realidad aumentada y las experiencias inmersivas. Se analizan conceptos clave como ‘convivio’, ‘tecnovivio’, ‘remediación’, ‘hipermediación’ e ‘inmediación’, así como la transformación del rol del espectador a partir de la interactividad digital. El texto reflexiona críticamente sobre los desafíos y riesgos de la tecnologización excesiva, y subraya la necesidad de equilibrar la innovación con la preservación de la experiencia viva y transformadora del teatro. Finalmente, se ofrecen ejem-plos recientes que ilustran cómo estas dinámicas expanden los límites de la esce-na sin comprometer su esencia.
Contemporary theatre is examined as an ephemeral and multidisciplinary art form that engages with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, aug-mented reality, and immersive experiences. Key concepts such as ‘conviviality,’ ‘tech-noviviality,’ ‘remediation,’ ‘hypermediation,’ and ‘immediacy’ are analyzed, as well as the transformation of the spectator's role resulting from digital interactivity. The text critically reflects on the challenges and risks of excessive technologization and underscores the need to balance innovation with preserving the living and transfor-mative experience of theatre. Finally, recent examples are offered to illustrate how the-se dynamics expand the boundaries of the stage without compromising its essence.
