El objetivo fue describir la gestión predictiva del mantenimiento vial mediante inteligencia artificial. Se tipificò como descriptiva, con enfoque cualitativo, y utilizó una muestra teórica de 18 documentos. Los resultados evidencian que, en la literatura actual, no se identifica un concepto global del mantenimiento predictivo vial con inteligencia artificial. Finalmente, las concepciones varían entre un sistema de inteligencia artificial orientado a la reducción de costos operativos, otro orientado al análisis de grandes volúmenes de datos y la garantía de la vida útil de la infraestructura vial; y otro ofrece estrategias automatizadas para analizar y pronosticar fallas desde diversas perspectivas operativas.
The objective was to describe predictive road maintenance management using artificial intelligence. It was classified as descriptive, with a qualitative approach, and used a theoretical sample of 18 documents. The results show that, in the current literature, no global concept of predictive road maintenance with artificial intelligence has been identified. Finally, conceptions vary between an artificial intelligence system oriented toward reducing operating costs, another oriented toward analyzing large volumes of data and guaranteeing the useful life of road infrastructure, and another that offers automated strategies for analyzing and forecasting failures from various operational perspectives.
