Este trabajo tiene como objetivo caracterizar las representaciones sobre interculturalidad y cosmovisión en la construcción de la educación para la diversidad cultural. Metodológicamente se utilizó el enfoque cualitativo, de tipo documental. Se recopila información de diversos documentos y autores para tener una perspectiva general sobre el tema. Abordando aspectos esenciales de investigaciones desarrolladas en Latinoamérica, para entender como las representaciones sobre interculturalidad y cosmovisión son categorías vinculadas al hecho educativo. Se concluye que las representaciones que se manejan en relación con interculturalidad y cosmovisión influyen en el proceso educativo para que se dé el reconocimiento de las diferencias culturales.
This paper aims to characterize the representations on interculturality and worldview in the construction of education for cultural diversity. Methodologically, a qualitative, documentary-type approach was used. Information is collected from various documents and authors to have a general perspective on the subject. Addressing essential aspects of research developed in Latin America, to understand how representations on interculturality and worldview are categories linked to the educational fact. It is concluded that the representations that are handled in relation to interculturality and worldview influence the educational process so that the recognition of cultural differences occurs
