El objetivo de este documento es analizar el impacto del Plan de Fortalecimiento en la acreditación institucional de las universidades chilenas que forman parte del Consorcio de Universidades Estatales de Chile. Se emplea una metodología que incluye una revisión bibliográfica de los términos relevantes, técnicas de investigación documental, y el análisis de informes de ministerios y consorcios. Se definen criterios estadísticos para cuantificar la influencia de ciertas variables sobre la acreditación institucional. Del análisis se concluye que no existe evidencia de una relación lineal significativa entre las variables del plan de fortalecimiento y los años y áreas de acreditación.
The objective of this document is to analyze the impact of the Strengthening Plan on the institutional accreditation of the Chilean universities that are part of the Consor-tium of State Universities of Chile. A methodolog y is used that includes a bibliographic review of relevant terms, documentary research techniques, and the analysis of reports from ministries and consortia. Statistical criteria are defined to quantify the influence of certain variables on institutional accreditation. From the analysis it is concluded that there is no evidence of a significant linear relationship between the variables of the strengthening plan and the years and areas of accreditation.
