The objective of this work was to design a model for the analysis of functional relationships between social support, the structure of personal networks and their influence on the processes of community empowerment in 120 ex-combatants and 120 victims of the Colombian armed conflict. Through a cross-sectional explanatory study, the social networks, levels of social support and community empowerment variables of these actors were evaluated. The results revealed significant differences in the network structures between both groups, particularly in the structural indicators, which showed clear correlations with the levels of social support. This relationship suggests a mediating role of social support in the psychosocial processes of both groups. In addition, another striking aspect was the high levels of community empowerment, sense of community and social participation in both groups, which points to the activation of resilient mechanisms in the post-conflict context. These findings highlight the importance ofdesigning differentiated policies that take advantage of network dynamics to strengthen reintegration and reconciliation processes, offering an analytical model applicable to post-conflict social reconstruction contexts.
