A lo largo de las décadas, se han logrado avances significativos en términos de legislación, como la promulgación de la Ley de Protección Integral para Prevenir, Sancionar y Erradicar la Violencia contra las Mujeres en 2009. Esta ley reconoce diferentes formas de violencia de género y establece mecanismos para prevenirla y sancionarla. Además, el movimiento feminista argentino ha ganado fuerza en los últimos años, con manifestaciones masivas como el movimiento "Ni Una Menos", que busca poner fin a los feminicidios y la violencia machista. Estas manifestaciones han contribuido a visibilizar la violencia de género y a exigir acciones concretas por parte del Estado y la sociedad para abordar este problema. A pesar de estos avances, persisten desafíos importantes en la lucha por los derechos humanos de las mujeres en Argentina. La discriminación de género sigue siendo una realidad en muchas áreas de la sociedad, incluyendo el ámbito laboral y político. Además, el acceso a la justicia para las mujeres que sufren violencia de género sigue siendo limitado, y muchas veces enfrentan obstáculos para denunciar y obtener protección. En resumen, la historia de los derechos humanos de las mujeres en Argentina es una historia de lucha y resistencia, marcada por avances significativos, pero también por desafíos persistentes. La lucha por la igualdad de género continúa siendo una prioridad en la agenda política y social del país, y es fundamental seguir trabajando para garantizar que todas las mujeres puedan vivir libres de violencia y discriminación. Esta investigación examina la historia y cronología de como surgieron los derechos humanos de las mujeres en Argentina, centrándose en varios aspectos relevantes como sus orígenes, la lucha de las primeras mujeres que tuvieron el valor de alzar la voz para reclamar sus derechos, los inicios de los grupos feministas y las mujeres de gran impacto que contribuyeron en la obtención de estos derechos. Con el presente trabajo se pretende resaltar la necesidad de seguir mejorando la legislación, para lograr que las futuras generaciones logren beneficiarse de la igualdad de género en todos los sectores de la sociedad argentina
The history of women's human rights in Argentina is a story that covers different periods and struggles. Argentine women have been fighting for gender equality in various areas, including the right to vote, political participation, equal employment opportunities and the eradication of gender violence. One of the most important events in the fight for women's rights in Argentina was the obtaining of the right to vote in 1947, thanks to the tireless work of activists like Julieta Lanteri. This achievement marked an important point in the country's history and laid the foundation for future demands for equality. However, gender equality remains a challenge in Argentina. Over the decades, significant progress has been made in terms of legislation, such as the promulgation of the Comprehensive Protection Law to Prevent, Punish and Eradicate Violence against Women in 2009. This law recognizes different forms of gender violence and establishes mechanisms to prevent and punish it. Furthermore, the Argentine feminist movement has gained strength in recent years, with massive demonstrations such as the movement "Ni Una Menos", which seeks to put an end to femicides and sexist violence. These demonstrations have contributed to making gender violence visible and demanding concrete actions by the State and society to address this problem. Despite these advances, important challenges persist in the fight for women's human rights in Argentina. Gender discrimination continues to be a reality in many areas of society, including the workplace and politics. Furthermore, access to justice for women who suffer gender-based violence remains limited, and they often face obstacles in reporting and obtaining protection. In summary, the history of women's human rights in Argentina is a history of struggle and resistance, marked by significant advances, but also by persistent challenges. The fight for gender equality continues to be a priority on the country's political and social agenda, and it is essential to continue working to guarantee that all women can live free of violence and discrimination. This research examines the history and chronology of how women's human rights emerged in Argentina, focusing on several relevant aspects such as their origins, the struggle of the first women who had the courage to raise their voices to claim their rights, the beginnings of feminist groups and the women of great impact who contributed to obtaining these rights. This work aims to highlight the need to continue improving legislation, to ensure that future generations can benefit from gender equality in all sectors of Argentine society
