La poesía del escritor y arquitecto catalán Joan Margarit, fallecido en 2021, se caracteriza por aunar una gran profundidad humana y un lenguaje formal accesible. Esto último no significa una falta de referencias culturales. Todo lo contrario. Muestra de ello son las abundantes menciones, de diverso tipo, al mundo de la filosofía. Esto mismo refleja no solo los intereses culturales del autor catalán, sino su gran capacidad para conectar el ámbito del pensamiento con el de la sensibilidad poética. Este pequeño artículo intenta realizar un somero análisis en relación con estos aspectos.
The poetic work of the Catalan writer and architect Joan Margarit, who died in 2021, is distinguished by its profound human depth and the use of an accessible formal language. This accessibility, however, does not entail a lack of cultural references—quite the opposite. The frequent and varied allusions to the world of philosophy serve as clear evidence. Such references not only reveal the cultural interests of the Catalan author but also highlight his remarkable ability to bridge the realm of philo sophical thought with that of poetic sensitivity. This brief essay seeks to provide a preliminary analysis of these dimensions.
