La circulación de la obra de Rodolfo Mondolfo en América Latina se dio a través de una firme y sostenida colaboración editorial en los principales sellos del continente, sin descuidar a la par su circulación europea a través de editoriales italianas con las que siguió colaborando luego de su exilio en la Argentina. Este trabajo se centra, en especial, en la relación con Orfila Reynal, editor del Fondo de Cultura Económica y de Siglo XXI, con quien mantuvo diálogo sostenido a lo largo de muchos años. Entre otras cosas se destacará un intercambio entre ellos acerca de Cuba, que resulta iluminador para entender su lectura de su revolución y su impacto latinoamericano.
The circulation of Rodolfo Mondolfo's work in Latin America took place through a firm and sustained editorial collaboration in the main publishing houses of the continent, without neglecting at the same time his European circulation through Italian publishers with whom he continued to collaborate after his exile in Argentina. This work focuses, in particular, on his relationship with Orfila Reynal, publisher of the Fondo de Cultura Económica and Siglo XXI, with whom he maintained a sustained dialogue over many years. Among other subjects, an exchange between them about Cuba will be highlighted, which is illuminating to understand his reading of this revolution and its Latin American impact.
