    There are several “common heritages” in the field of environmental law: common heritage of mankind, common heritage of the nation, common heritage of human beings, etc. These are often confused. However, if these qualifications seem similar, they have their own particularities and are not interchangeable.

    Il existe plusieurs « patrimoines communs » en droit de l’environnement : patrimoine commun de l’humanité, patrimoine commun de la nation, patrimoine commun des êtres humains, etc. Ceux-ci sont souvent confondus. Or, s’il existe d’indéniables points communs entre ces qualifications, celles-ci ne sont pas pour autant interchangeables puisqu’elles ont leurs spécificités propres.
