Conflictos y articulaciones sobre las formas de hacer música: Una aproximación cualitativa a la subjetividad de músicos independientes

    Este trabajo investiga la subjetividad de músicos independientes en Santiago de Chile desde una perspectiva psicosocial. Mediante una aproximación cualitativa, se realizaron entrevistas reflexivas y observaciones participantes a siete músicos del circuito local. El análisis dialógico del discurso revela conflictos y articulaciones en torno a la precariedad laboral, destacando la multiactividad, intermitencia y flexibilidad del trabajo musical. Además, se problematiza la relación entre el quehacer artístico y las lógicas laborales, observando la centralidad de la imagen estética y la lógica de autonomía que desdibuja los límites entre vida y trabajo. Se sugiere investigar más sobre las dinámicas de cuidado, género y ciclo vital en futuros estudios, especialmente en artistas jóvenes.

    This study investigates the subjectivity of independent musicians in Santiago de Chile from a psychosocial perspective. Using a qualitative approach, reflexive interviews and participant observations were conducted with seven musicians from the local independent music circuit. The dialogical discourse analysis reveals conflicts and articulations regarding labor precariousness, highlighting the multi-activity, intermittency, and flexibility of musical work. Additionally, the relationship between artistic endeavors and work logics is problematized, noting the centrality of aesthetic image and the logic of autonomy that blurs the boundaries between life and work.

    Future research should delve deeper into the dynamics of care work, gender, and life cycle, especially among younger artists.
