En Costa Rica se cuenta con regulación para organizaciones sin fines de lucro como lo son las asociaciones civiles y las asociaciones solidaristas, pero ¿hasta qué punto su regulación cumple los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible de la ONU?, si bien es cierto los estatutos de cada organización de esta naturaleza establecen tratamientos específicos según los fines que persigue, también se debe revisar si por solo su naturaleza, que su fin primordial no sea lucrar, se regula la obligatoriedad de establecer fines para una construcción de una sociedad más sostenible o en, su defecto, si es necesaria una reforma para que se cumplan con estos objetivos.
In Costa Rica, there is a regulation for non-profit organizations such as civil associations and solidarity associations, but to what extent does their regulation comply with the UN Sustainable Development Objectives? Although the statutes are true of each organization of this nature establish specific treatments according to the purposes it pursues, it must also be reviewed whether, due to its nature alone, that its primary purpose is not profit, the obligation to establish purposes for the construction of a more sustainable society is regulated or, failing that, if a reform is necessary to comply with these objectives.
