El artículo plantea que la desaparición generalizada de jóvenes en México hace parte de un continuo de violencias juvenicidas. A partir del estudio del caso de Zacatecas, se articulan los conceptos de juvenicidio, desaparición y doble espejo de la desaparición, para acercarse a esta violencia desde el testimonio de las familias que resisten y se movilizan en la búsqueda. Siguiendo una metodología cualitativa de observación participante, entrevistas a profundidad y triangulación de información estadística y hemerográfica, se identifican como parte del continuo de violencia juvenicida de la desaparición: (a) condiciones de precariedad, exclusión y vulnerabilidad, (b) patrones de impunidad que se sostienen en la estigmatización y criminalización de los jóvenes, (c) disputas por el valor moral de las víctimas.
This article argues that the generalized disappearance of young people in Mexico is part of a continuum of “juvenicide” violence. By studying the case of Zacatecas, and using the notion of the double mirror of disappearance, it studies this violence based on the testimonies of the families that have resisted and mobilized in search. With a qualitative methodology, the triangulation of statistical data —from the press, and in-depth interviews—, the following were identified as aspects of the continuum of juvenicide violence: (a) conditions of precariousness, exclusion and vulnerability, (b) the circuit of impunity that is sustained by the stigmatization and criminalization of young people, (c) discursive struggles for the moral restitution of the victims.
