El impacto de la inteligencia artificial es tan vasto como transversal, afectando a todos los sectores de actividad, desde la medicina hasta la educación, pasando, por supuesto, por el Derecho. Por ello, este trabajo tiene por objeto investigar y explorar cómo la inteligencia artificial generativa está configurando el presente y el futuro del sector legal. Analizaremos en detalle qué es el prompt engineering, cómo funciona y por qué es esencial para los abogados. Además, presentaremos ejemplos prácticos de legal prompting, desde la creación de contratos hasta la gestión estratégica de despachos de abogados. También profundizaremos en las técnicas necesarias para diseñar prompts efectivos y optimizar la interacción con estas tecnologías.
The impact of artificial intelligence is as far-reaching as it is cross-sectoral, touching every area of activity-from medicine to education and, of course, the law. This paper therefore sets out to investigate and explore how generative artificial intelligence is shaping both the present and the future of the legal sector. We will examine in detail what prompt engineering is, how it works and why it is essential for lawyers. In addition, we will present practical examples of legal prompting, ranging from contract drafting to the strategic management of law firms. Finally, we will delve into the techniques required to design effective prompts and to optimise interaction with these technologies.
