El objeto del presente artículo consiste en realizar un estado de la cuestión respecto a los archivos de empresa, a nivel legislativo y de implementación de los mismos en las estructuras corporativas. Para ello, se ha revisado la legislación española existente, así como la situación internacional y nacional de los mismos. Finalmente, se ha puesto el caso de cómo funciona la gestión documental en una empresa de un campo que, aparentemente, no tendría que verse afectado por carecer de las estructuras de gestión de un archivo: la ingeniería de energías renovables.
The subject of the present paper consists in making a state of the matter about business archives, on a legal level, and the implementation of them in the corporative structures. For that, the current Spanish legislation has been reviewed, and the international and national situation of these archives. Finally, the example of how the records management work in a company from a field does that, on the first look, wouldn’t have to be affected for not having the management structures of an archive: renewable energies engineering.
