En esta investigación se presenta un estudio de la relación entre la realidad histórica y la praxis en el pensamiento de Ignacio Ellacuría. Se defiende la tesis de que el vínculo entre ambas nociones representa uno de los mayores aportes de este autor a la filosofía latinoamericana, debido a la inserción de ambas categorías en el plano trascendental, cuya plena comprensión implica el conocimiento de las principales tesis de Xavier Zubiri, maestro de Ellacuría. Se concluye que ambas temáticas se abordan desde una perspectiva original, a partir de pilares eminentemente metafí-sicos, cuya apertura se ve impulsada por diversos dinamismos.
This research presents a study of the relationship between historical reality and praxis in Ignacio Ellacuría’s thought. It defends the thesis that the existing link be-tween both notions represents one of the greatest contributions of this author to Latin American philosophy. This is due to the insertion of both categories in the transcendental domain, whose full understanding implies the knowledge of the main theses of Xavier Zubiri, Ellacuría’s teacher. It is concluded that both themes are approached from an original perspective, starting from eminently metaphysi-cal pillars, whose openness is driven by diverse dynamisms.
