Preguntarnos por las posibles causas que llevan a los jóvenes a involucrarse en conflictos sociales nos lleva a analizar las características de las interrelaciones entre los individuos que constituyen el problema. A lo largo de este trabajo, se presenta una propuesta analítica que contribuye a comprender la relación entre las emociones, arraigadas en la estructura social, y cómo de ahí se derivan las relaciones de poder y estatus entre los jóvenes. Como referencia para el análisis de este trabajo, se retoman las propuestas de Theodore Kemper (2007) y J. M. Barbalet (2001) con respecto a la teoría del poder y el estatus.
To inquire about the possible causes triggering the involvement of young people in social conflicts is to delve into the characteristics of the interrelationships between individuals comprising the is-sue. Throughout this work, an analytical framework is proposed that enables us to comprehend the relationship between emotions anchored to the social structure and the characteristics defining power and status relations among young people. Drawing on the theoretical contributions of Theo-dore Kemper (2007) and J. M. Barbalet (2001) regarding power and status, these serve as reference points for the analysis in this study.
