En el presente papel se estudia cómo la democracia española controla su comunidad de inteligencia a través de tres dimensiones analíticas: la dirección política que ejerce el Gobierno sobre el conjunto de organismos que integran la Administración Pública, entre los cuales están los servicios de inteligencia; la supervisión parlamentaria desarrollada por las Cortes Generales, y, finalmente, el control jurisdiccional desarrollado por los órganos que conforman el poder judicial. El artículo estudia aspectos de configuración, diseño y rendimiento de este tipo de instrumentos de control y señala cómo tienen un paralelismo directo con el desarrollo que han conocido las instituciones que conforman el sistema político español
This article studies how Spanish democracy controls its intelligence community through three analytical dimensions: the political direction that the Government exercises over the set of organizations that make up the Public Administration, among which are the intelligence services; the parliamentary supervision developed by the Parliament and, finally, the jurisdictional control exercised by the bodies that make up the judicial power. The article studies aspects of configuration, design and performance of this type of control instruments and points out how they have a direct parallel with the development that the institutions that make up the Spanish political system have known
