A pesar de las ventajas que ofrecen las tecnologías digitales al proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje aún existen limitaciones en su empleo, lo que se evidenció, cuando se asumió la educación on-line como alternativa para dar continuidad a los procesos formativos en tiempo de Covid-19. El presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la utilidad de la plataforma didáctica Moodle y la aplicación WhatsApp durante la crisis sanitaria provocada por la Covid-19. Para lo cual se llevó a cabo un estudio descriptivo con enfoque cuantitativo, sustentado en los métodos revisión documental, hermenéutico, analítico-sintético y estadístico. Además, fue aplicada una encuesta a los 16 estudiantes del segundo año de la carrera de Gestión Sociocultural para el Desarrollo de la Universidad de Granma. Los resultados obtenidos señalan que independientemente de las dificultades e incertidumbres iniciales, los estudiantes adoptaron rápidamente la educación online para el desarrollo del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, logrando, no solo el cumplimiento de los objetivos del currículo, sino también la calidad del aprendizaje. Actualmente abogan por mantener la experiencia del empleo de las Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones en la modalidad presencial pos pandemia.
Despite the advantages that digital technologies offer to the teaching-learning process there are still limitations in their use, which was evidenced, when online education was assumed as an alternative to continue training processes in times of Covid-19. The objective of this article is to analyze the usefulness of the Moodle didactic platform during the sanitary crisis caused by COVID-19 and how this experience has served for its better use in post-pandemic face-to-face courses. For which a descriptive study with mixed focus was carried out, based on hermeneutical, analytical-synthetic and statistical methods. In addition, a survey was applied to the 16 students of the second year of the Sociocultural Management for Development career at the University of Granma. The results obtained indicate that regardless of the initial difficulties and uncertainties, the students quickly adopted online education for the development of the teaching-learning process, achieving, not only the fulfillment of the objectives of the curriculum, but also the quality of learning. They currently advocate maintaining the experience of using ICT in the post-pandemic face-to-face modality.
