    Los medios de financiación de una entidad política son los que determinan su capacidad de gasto y de hacer efectivo materialmente sus proyectos. El marco fiscal, las instituciones y organismos técnicos y políticos de control financiero y presupuestario son necesarios a la hora de entender el funcionamiento de la economía pública del mundo clásico y su reflejo e influencia contemporáneos.

    A political entity’s funding means are the ones to determine both its expenditure capabilities and those for effectively materialising its projects. The tax framework, together with technical and political institutions and organs for financial and budgetary control are needed in order to understand the way public economy works in the classical world and its contemporary reflections and influence.
