Through this work, the author seeks to shed light on the water law regime in al-Andalus. To this end, he first presents the current state from a doctrinal perspective and then explains the characteristics of Muslim law so that the reader can delve into its sources and understand its specificities. The paper concludes with a brief comparative study of the Maliki laws pertaining to water.
