Las interacciones no deseadas que sufren las mujeres en los espacios públicos han estado históricamente ignoradas. Se trata de la violencia de género más normalizada, enmascarada como cortejo, que se ha convertido en una de las violaciones de derechos humanos más habituales. Con el objetivo de analizar y profundizar en el impacto del Acoso Sexual Callejero en la vida de las mujeres en España, se realizó una investigación cualitativa mediante entrevistas en profundidad. Los resultados muestran que el Acoso Sexual Callejero es un problema social, que afecta a la mayoría de las mujeres en España, sobre todo, a las más jóvenes. Este tipo de violencia es perpetrado por hombres desconocidos, provocando sentimientos negativos y cambios en el estilo de vida de las víctimas, como restricciones en su movilidad. En definitiva, el espacio público se ha convertido en una amenaza para las mujeres, donde sufren diferentes tipos de violencias que atentan contra su libertad e integridad física y moral, pero a la que todavía no se le otorga la importancia suficiente.
The unwanted communicative interactions that women suffer in public spaces have historically been ignored. This is the most normalized gender violence, masked as courtship, which has become one of the most common human rights violations. In order to analyze and deepen the impact of Street Sexual Ha-rassment in the lives of women in Spain, qualitative research was conducted through in-depth interviews. The results show that Sexual Street Harassment is a social problem that affects the majority of women in Spain, especially the youngest ones. This type of violent communicative practices are mainly perpetrated by unk-nown men, provoking negative feelings and changes in the lifestyle of the victims, such as restrictions in their mobility. In short, public space has become a threat to women, where they suffer different types of violence that threaten their freedom and physical and moral integrity, but which is still not given sufficient importance.
