Aunque a menudo contrapuestas, las políticas bonapartistas hacia los judíos aceleraron la transformación del estatuto jurídico de sus comunidades y redefinieron su relación con el Estado en el ámbito no solo francés, sino también europeo. Este artículo examina su implantación e inmediato impacto desde una perspectiva que combina historia y Derecho, analizando el vínculo entre modernización, integración y control estatal.
Despite the frequent inconsistencies between them, Bonapartist policies towards Jews were a contributing factor to the acceleration of the transformation of the legal status of Jewish communities and the redefinition of their relationship with the State, both in France and Europe. This article examines the implementation and impact of these policies from a perspective that combines history and Law, analysing the link between modernisation, integration and State control.
