El presente escrito es un espacio de reflexión y aporte desde la implementación del Programa Abriendo Caminos y la experiencia en el proceso de intervención, que busca afrontar los impactos negativos de la privación de libertad de una figura significativa en niños, niñas y adolescentes, así como también la nueva estructuración que debe asumir el sistema familiar. En este sentido, cuatro pilares guían y orientan la metodología de trabajo en estas instancias socioeducativas: el Estado y su compromiso con la niñez y juventud; el apoyo profesional personalizado desde el equipo de acompañamiento; la familia como parte integral del proceso; y la comunidad y la cohesión social. De este modo se resuelve la importancia de visualizar al niño, niña o adolescente con un adulto significativo privado de libertad como sujeto de derecho, y no como sujeto asistencial o receptor de servicios del Estado.
This paper constitutes a space for reflection and a space for reflection and contribution from the implementation of the Abriendo Caminos Program and from the experience in the intervention process, which seeks to confront the negative impacts of the deprivation of liberty of a significant figure in children and adolescents, as well as the new structuring that the family system must assume. In this sense, four pillars guide and orient the work methodology in these socio-educational instances: the State and its commitment to children and youth, personalized professional support from the support team, the family as an integral part of the process and the community and social cohesion. In this way, the importance of visualizing the child or adolescent with a significant adult deprived of liberty as a subject of rights, and not as a subject of assistance or recipient of services for the State, is resolved.
