La investigación explora el desarrollo de un turismo regenerativo en las veredas del sur de Fusagasugá (Cundinamarca), abordando la organización comunitaria, así como el impacto ambiental y cultural del turismo. Su propósito es caracterizar las iniciativas comunitarias y las interrelaciones entre actores clave que afectan este proceso. Utilizando una metodología mixta, con herramientas como MACTOR y MICMAC, se recopilaron datos por medio de talleres, mesas de trabajo y visitas territoriales, con el fin de promover la cohesión comunitaria. Los resultados muestran una variedad de iniciativas comunitarias orientadas al turismo rural, aunque con limitaciones en cuanto a legalidad y formalización. Los actores más influyentes, como asociaciones locales y la alcaldía, desempeñan roles fundamentales en la implementación de prácticas regenerativas. La investigación concluye que, para consolidar el turismo regenerativo, es esencial fortalecer la cooperación, la infraestructura y la educación ambiental, con el objetivo de crear un impacto positivo duradero en la comunidad y el ecosistema.
The research examines the development of regenerative tourism in the rural communities of southern Fusagasugá, Cundinamarca, focusing on community organization and the environmental and cultural impacts of tourism. It aims to characterize communitybased initiatives and the interactions among key actors that influence this process. Using a mixed methodology, including tools such as MACTOR and MICMAC, Data collection involved workshops, collaborative work sessions, and field visits, all of which contributed to strengthening community cohesion. The findings reveal a variety of community-driven rural tourism initiatives, although they face challenges in terms of legality and formalization. Key stakeholders, such as local associations and the mayor’s office, play an essential role in implementing regenerative practices. The study concludes that strengthening collaboration, improving infrastructure, and enhancing environmental education are essential steps toward establishing regenerative tourism that generates lasting positive impacts on both the community and the ecosystem.
