el presente esfuerzo investigativo se encamina a dilucidar los elementos historiográficos e iusmunicipalistas que sustentan una propuesta de etapas para ordenar y comprender el devenir histórico del Derecho Municipal en la isla. Ello implica la aproximación, desde una periodización, a la identificación de aciertos y limitaciones en la búsqueda de referentes en la propia historia institucional de Cuba que podrían ser tomados en cuenta, como antecedentes, para una futura Ley de Municipios.
The present research effort is aimed at elucidating the historiographical and municipal law elements that support a proposal of stages to organize and understand the historical development of Municipal Law on the island. This implies an approach, from a periodization, to the identification of successes and limitations in the search for references in the institutional history of Cuba itself that could be taken into account, as background, for a future Law of Municipalities.
