Se trata en este trabajo de la institución de la Casa en el ordenamiento jurídico histórico aragonés, como expresión de la comunidad doméstica pirenaica altoaragonesa, y de las instituciones familiares y sucesorias que la han conformado, situándolas a fines del siglo xix con la perspectiva de los estudios sobre el Derecho consuetudinario del Alto Aragón del gran jurista aragonés Joaquín Costa Martínez; y añadiendo las aportaciones que han realizado historiadores y juristas sobre su evolución hasta la actualidad.
This article deals with the institution of the Casa (“Household”) in the historical legal system of Aragon, as an expression of the Pyrenean domestic community of Upper Aragon, and the family and inheritance institutions that have shaped it, looking at them as they were at the end of the 19th century from the perspective of the studies on the customary law of Upper Aragon by the renowned Aragonese jurist Joaquín Costa Martínez, and adding the contributions made by historians and jurists on their evolution up to the present day.
Lan honek hizpide ditu Aragoiko ordenamendu juridiko historikoko etxearen instituzioa, Aragoi Garaia Pirinioetako etxe-komunitatearen eta adierazpen gisa, hura osatu duten familia- eta oinordetza-erakundeak, xix. mendearen amaieran kokatuta, Joaquín Costa Martínez Aragoiko legelari handiaren Aragoi Garaiko ohiturazko zuzenbideari buruzko azterlanen ikuspegiarekin, eta gaur egun arte izan duen bilakaerari buruz historialariek eta legelariek egin dituzten ekarpenak gehituta.
