  Este trabajo tiene por objeto contribuir a la clarificación del contenido y los parámetros objetivosque definen del deber de profesionalidad de los proveedores en el contexto del derecho del consumo.El artículo sostiene que se trata del estándar de diligencia exigible al proveedor, cuyo incumplimientoconstituye negligencia cuando esta sea necesaria para imponer responsabilidad. Por suparte, los parámetros objetivos que definen este deber, y que pueden ponderarse para determinarel monto de la multa, son la habitualidad y la experticia del proveedor.

  This work intends to be a contribution in clarifying the content of the provider’s duty of professionalismand the objetive parameters that define it in the context of consumer law. Thepaper states that it is the standard of diligence expected from the provider, the breach of whichconstitutes negligence when it is required to assign liability. In turn, the objective parametersthat define this duty, and that can be considered to determine the amount of the fine, are theprovider’s habitual trade and expertise.
