Personality rights are no longer confined in the analysis of the human being as an isolated person. Therefore, it is insufficient to understand that the dignity of the human being is limited to the protection of the individualizing elements of the person. In fact, although it is also essential to protect the individual marks of each person, it is recognized that the maintenance of interpersonal relationships derives from human nature itself. The person is a communal being, which means that he will always be involved in different relationships with other human beings. For this reason, the dignity of the human person is projected in the protection of the freedom of interpersonal relations.
Os direitos da personalidade não mais se enclausuram na análise do indivíduo isoladamente considerado. Por isso, é insuficiente a compreensão de que a dignidade do ser humano se resume à proteção dos elementos individualizantes da pessoa. Em realidade, embora também seja essencial a proteção das marcas próprias de cada indivíduo, é preciso reconhecer que deriva da própria condição humana a manutenção de relações interpessoais. A pessoa é um ser naturalmente comunitário, que sempre se insere em alguma abertura relacional. Assim, a tutela da dignidade da pessoa humana passa, também, pela tutela da liberdade das relações interpessoais.
