Este articulo muestra los aportes epistemológicos del feminismo latinoamericano a la crítica y reconceptualización de los derechos humanos, en este sentido desde América Latina y el Caribe, por múltiples factores sociales e históricos que de una forma inédita en comparación con otros continentes, señala el androcentrismo en los derechos humanos y sienta las bases para el reconocimiento del derecho a vivir una vida libre de violencia . Esta investigación analiza cuáles son algunas de las causas y contextos que fundamentan estos aportes epistémicos, a partir de una metodología cualitativa y etnográfica que responde al conocimiento situado por medio de entrevistas a mujeres claves en Costa Rica, se establece las sinergias que se construyen a nivel Latinoamericano por el movimiento de feministas y de defensoras de los derechos humanos.
This article shows the epistemological contributions of Latin American feminism to the critique and reconceptualization of human rights, in this sense from Latin America and the Caribbean, due to multiple social and historical factors that in an unprecedented way, compared to other continents, points out the androcentrism in human rights and lays the foundations for the recognition of the right to live a life free of violence. This research analyses some of the causes and contexts that underlie these epistemic contributions, from a qualitative and ethnographic methodology that responds to situated knowledge through interviews with key women in Costa Rica, establishing the synergies that are built at the Latin American level by the movement of feminists and human rights defenders.
